Language And Culture

Language is the method of human communication. Either in written or a spoken from whereas, culture is the idea, values and beliefs we have in our society. Communication or language is mechanism for channeling culture and cultural bonds that reflects and reproduces culture.

 

Culture refers to dynamic social systems and shared patterns of behavior, beliefs, knowledge, attitudes and values. Language and cultures merit study and celebration in their own right.
What is difference between language and culture ?
A specific language refers to human communication, particular, values meanwhile culture is specific to dynamic social system.
What is the connection of language and culture ?
Culture is something influenced and impacted by the language hereas, language is from by the culture society , similarly, language is not only from expression or a means of communication, a component of culture that makes it unique and specific, our values speech and shapes our identity and personality.
Why is language important in culture ?
Language is intrinsic to the expression of culture, as a means of communication values, beliefs and customs, it has an important social function of identity and solidarity. The means is culture and their tradition is shared values may be conveyed and preserved.
How culture is learned ?
Culture learning is the way a group of people or animals within a society or culture tend to learn and pass on information .
Example of language and culture :
Language : – positive politeness expressions – polite language – politeness
Culture : – and mutual politeness –one sided politeness – politeness
